My name will be on the november ballot in the new House district 26. I’m excited that people are planning to vote, and I encourage everyone to make sure you are registered.

I want to continue to represent Utahns. As a career teacher, I saw my students come to class, eager to share a happy event or challenged to focus on learning because of a crisis at home. My sense of community began with the view from my classroom; it grew with my connections to kids, their families, and the neighborhoods where they live. As a state representative, I am working on projects about education and civic engagement, heritage and art, local government relations, strong families, and safe, healthy communities.

Now serving in my third term as your representative, I am impressed every day with the individual perspectives of those who call and email. I consider your points as I participate in policy discussions and thank you for being active in our community. The people of House District 26 deserve a representative who will continue to regard the contexts and complexities that impact their lives.
